Printing process
Photos are printed using a digital photographic printing process (often silver-halide/photo-paper processing).
The image is exposed/printed onto real photographic paper, then chemically processed.
This gives better photographic quality than ordinary digital printing on coated paper.
Paper options
Glossy: High contrast, vibrant colors, strong shine.
Lustre / Silk: Professional finish with reduced reflections and fingerprints — usually the best choice for albums.
Matte: Soft, elegant appearance with very low reflection.
Typical photographic paper thickness can vary depending on the album manufacturer and mounting method.
Album construction
For a premium album, the photographic prints can be:
Mounted onto rigid board
Laminated for protection
Trimmed and assembled as individual pages
Bound using a lay-flat or flush-mount construction
